We have mentioned in prior posts that Florida and Tennessee are really the only states in the country that provide mandatory sinkhole coverage for home and business owners. We have heard horror stories of the claims handling process in Tennessee by under-trained adjusters and engineering firms and figured that the residents of Tennessee could use someone on their side. Several other Florida firms have also taken this step and are accepting cases in Tennessee so it is good to see that there will be a small team of experienced sinkhole attorneys that can work together. I, Morgan Barfield, just recently obtained my license to practice law in the State of Tennessee and the firm as a whole is planning expansion to include a satellite office in the eastern portion of the state.
