Sinkhole opens in Tampa roadway slowing traffic

A sinkhole has opened at the intersection of Fletcher and Nebraska, a very busy roadway in Tampa. The hole appeared almost in the dead center of the roadway and is almost a perfect circle. The hole is estimated to be six feet in diameter and about eight feet deep. The intersection is closed for repairs and those that travel this route, especially during rush hour traffic are encouraged to find an alternate route.
